Minutes of the meeting of the Tacoma Green Dragons, Les Sundt Memorial Chapter IPMS, held on

26 March, 2009

 

  OPENING: The meeting officially opened at 7:19 PM by President George Haase.  There were 16 members and three guests present.  The guests were Jacob Russel (and I believe his son) and Chris Fowler.  It was good to see Tony Bentley back with us.        

 

  TREASURER’S REPORT:  We currently have $548.88.  Mark Aldrich was paid $120.00 for trophy payments. 

 

  MINUTES:  The minutes and FAN/FEB newsletter were made available for anyone to look at.    

 

  OLD BUSINESS:   There will be no 2009 show put on by us.       

 

  NEW BUSINESS:  The Seattle Spring Show is 18 April and doors open at 0900re will be no 2009 show.  The following plan is established.  APR-Build, MAY-Will, JUN-Anthony Froh, JUL-Build, AUG-Jim, SEP-Raffle/SwapMeet, OCT-Build/Elections, NOV-Thanksgiving, DEC-Randy.  Also, in the JUN-AUG time frame we may be doing a make-n-take with the Cub Scouts as part of our meeting.  Upcoming meeting dates are:  26 March, 30 April, 28 May, 18 June, and 30 July.  All dates are at the Parkland Library Distribution Center.   

 

 LECTURE/DEMO:  Mark Aldrich gave a demo on various materials for making antennas and stretched some sprue.
